Use a Korean convenience store

Choose a meal, pay, use the correct cooker and clear your table.

Allow 30–60 minutes; equipment and seating depend on the branch.

Before you set out

Follow the visit

  1. Ask before choosing

Ask whether cooking and eating are allowed. Check the posted price for noodles, cooking containers and toppings separately. If there is no equipment, buy ready-to-eat food or takeaway instead.

  2. Choose and pay first

Read the packet’s preparation and ingredient information. Cup noodles and bag noodles may need different equipment. Pay before opening; ask which container is suitable for the machine.

  3. Follow this machine’s instructions

Follow the display and ask staff if a barcode or setting is unclear. Do not copy the timing from another brand. Take care with the hot vessel; use a microwave only for packaging marked suitable.

  4. Eat and clear up

Use the permitted seating area. Follow the store’s signs for leftover liquid, food waste and recycling; do not pour soup into an unmarked bin. Keep your receipt if payment needs checking.

Build your budget

Displayed noodle price + approved container/cooker charge + toppings/drink. Check the total at the register; older online prices are not current quotes.

Save the places

Use the exact Korean name. Confirm the current entrance and branch; alternatives are not necessarily consecutive walking stops.
