The glasshouse offers an indoor stop within the larger arboretum. This winter exterior is an archive view: follow current signs for the visitor entrance during construction and check any exhibition restrictions.

Winter changes the wetland garden’s colours and surface conditions. Wear shoes with grip, keep to open decks and combine the outdoor visit with a confirmed glasshouse stop.

Destination

Standard hours are March–October 09:00–18:00 and November–February 09:00–17:00, with admission ending an hour earlier. Adult admission is ₩5,000. Usually closed Mondays, with holiday adjustments. Check current notices for temporary closures, night events and the changed entrance during construction; special evening hours are not the year-round timetable.

Transport

The official route from Osong station uses BRT B1/B2, then bus 221 after the Government Complex north stop. Confirm live routing and board for the visitor entrance: “National Sejong Arboretum” and the research-building stop are different. A Seoul–Sejong coach also needs a city connection.

Stay

Sejong city accommodation fits an arboretum-and-lake-park overnight. Check the hotel’s actual bus stop and evening meal access. Daejeon is another rail-oriented base but adds a return transfer; choose it only if your onward train plan benefits.

Local food

Use the official facility page for current on-site café or meal options, or eat in Sejong’s Eojin-dong along your return route. Food consumption is limited to designated areas and cooking is prohibited; do not plan a lakeside barbecue inside the arboretum.

A workable visit plan

Confirmed city connection → current visitor entrance → one outdoor garden plus glasshouse → meal → lake park only if time permits → return. Check the departure date’s closure notice before buying rail tickets.

Suggested visit times are our planning allowances, not measured transfer times. Reserve the return connection first; current room prices, menus and local departures need a check for your travel date.
