Tree reflections are the main draw of this compact waterside park. Walk the open path and use benches for a pause; the photograph shows an autumn scene, not guaranteed conditions on your date.

Destination

Gyeryong’s official guide describes a 965 m waterside trail. Follow the open sections and photograph the trees from the path. Reflection quality depends on wind and light; red foliage is seasonal. This waterside park does not imply swimming or fishing access.

Transport

Compare trains to Gyeryong and arrange a separate taxi or local connection to Ipam Waterside Park. Keep the Korean park name, not just “Gyeryongsan”, on your map. Agree return pickup before walking if relying on a taxi.

Stay

A day trip usually needs no reservoir overnight. For a longer route compare Gyeryong town or Daejeon accommodation with your rail plan. Use the municipal lodging directory and verify actual check-in, parking and the final transfer.

Local food

Plan a meal in Gyeryong town before or after the park, using the city’s restaurant listings. Check the exact address and avoid adding an out-of-direction restaurant just because it appears in a city-wide list. Carry water for the short walk.

A workable visit plan

Gyeryong arrival → park loop → town meal → return. Sagye House can be a separate heritage stop if its opening and transfer fit; it is not part of the reservoir loop.

Suggested visit times are our planning allowances, not measured transfer times. Reserve the return connection first; current room prices, menus and local departures need a check for your travel date.
