Destination

Use the visitor approach indicated by the operator and walk only the marked field paths. Cheongju’s tourism material lists 추정길 44-112, while KTO lists the land-lot address 추정리 339-2; save both for the same field area and ask for the current parking entrance. The final approach can include an uphill walk. Spring rape flowers and autumn buckwheat are different seasons; no current peak is claimed. Verify current admission, closing and any workshop booking directly before arrival.

Transport

Arrive in Cheongju or Osong according to your rail/coach plan, then arrange the separate road transfer into Nangseong-myeon. Osong station is outside this field area. Check the rural return before going; a car or a pre-arranged taxi pickup is more flexible than assuming a frequent city bus. Do not drive onto a farm track to shorten the approach.

Stay

A Cheongju city hotel gives more evening meals and onward transport. A Nangseong/Miwon rural stay needs an exact transfer or car plan. A nearby forest cabin is separately booked and should not be described as included with the field admission.

Local food

Plan a cooked meal in Cheongju or at a confirmed restaurant along the Nangseong return route. Buckwheat noodles or pancakes fit the theme, but the flower field is not evidence of an on-site restaurant. Ask about buckwheat/wheat allergens and single portions; a café drink should not be your only lunch.

Personal essentials

Shoes suitable for an uphill farm approach, water, sun protection, light warm layer and a small rain cover. Keep your hands free and your return pickup saved. Do not pick flowers or cross a field boundary for a photo.

A workable visit plan

Arrival base → confirmed field entrance → flower paths and permitted viewpoint → cooked meal → return. Choose one nearby rural stop only if the separate road transfer fits.

Suggested visit times are our planning allowances, not measured transfer times. Reserve the return connection first; current room prices, menus and local departures need a check for your travel date.

Restaurant stops for this regional journey

Separate road stops: compare the live map route, travel time and return pickup before combining them. These are not one continuous walking trail.
