Use the Toegang-ri riverside location in Sangju, not an assumed festival pin. Look for publicly accessible signed river paths; reeds and cosmos are seasonal and no specific 2026 bloom or festival date has been verified. Ask Sangju tourism for the currently open entry and parking before a rural transfer. Stay out of cultivated fields and private land.
Transport
Plan a rail or coach arrival in Sangju, then the separate rural journey to Toegang-ri. Confirm the actual village bus and its last return, or arrange a taxi round trip. Save the park pin as well as the village name so the driver does not drop you at a different stretch of the river.
Stay
Sangju city is a simpler base for meals and return transport. A riverside pension suits a car trip only after you check the exact road approach, heating and cancellation terms. A riverside photograph does not establish that camping or fishing is authorised.
Local food
Eat in Sangju before or after the rural walk unless a village restaurant has confirmed it is open. A cooked rice meal is easier for one person than an unverified group menu. Sangju dried persimmons are a regional product to compare by label and price, not a substitute for a meal.

Walking shoes, windproof layer, water, a light snack and a charged phone with the return pickup saved. Allow daylight for the whole rural visit. Keep off muddy river margins after rain and do not enter reed beds for a photograph.
