Transport
Use the Korean entrance address, not a generic Geumsan town pin. Compare a Seoul–Geumsan coach for your date, then arrange a separate car or taxi from the terminal. A Daejeon rail arrival also requires onward road transport; there is no KTX stop at this forest. Agree the return pickup and quoted taxi fare before leaving town. Ask the local operator about current bus stops and the last return; a direct shuttle is not verified here.
Stay
Book Nami Recreation Forest through Foresttrip, choosing a cabin, forest lodge or camping pitch explicitly. The official four-person cabin example is ₩50,000 for a regular off-peak night and ₩70,000 in peak periods; ₩40,000 is an eligible discounted rate, not the universal price. For a cabin stay buy groceries before the rural transfer and confirm kitchen equipment; do not count on an on-site restaurant or delivery.
A workable visit plan
Half day: confirmed town arrival → town lunch or packed food → arranged forest transfer → visitor centre and one signed forest loop → return pickup. Overnight: shop in town first → arrive within your booked check-in window → short daylight walk → self-cater if your room permits → next-morning walk and confirmed departure. Avoid Tuesday and check weather; wet decks need shoes with grip. Water play is seasonal and not an autumn or winter activity.
