Basic visitor count

Eligible visits to public guide pages contribute to the basic counter, whether or not you allow optional analytics. We use a random first-party browser cookie to avoid counting refreshes and different pages as new visitors. Only its hashed identifier and the visit date in Korea time are stored for this count. We also keep anonymous daily page-view totals by guide URL, without a browser identifier or browsing history in that table. From 3 October 2026, recognised browsers refreshing the same page within 30 seconds do not add another view. Signed-in administrators, devices marked for exclusion, known automated crawlers, prefetch requests, static files and administrator pages are excluded. Short-lived hashed-browser deduplication keys are retained for up to two days and removed during subsequent eligible visits. Aggregate excluded-request counts are kept separately; older totals use the previous counting method.

Today means unique browsers visiting on the current Korean calendar day. Total means distinct browsers recorded since counting began. Different devices or cleared cookies may count separately. Earlier visits that were not recorded cannot be recovered.

Optional visitor analytics

With your permission, we additionally store the visit date and hour in Korea time, page path, short travel search terms and whether they returned results, navigation and guide clicks, video starts, booking-link clicks, a 30-second visible-and-focused page milestone, outbound website domains, country code supplied by the hosting network, broad device type and referring website domain. We do not store the visitor’s raw IP address, precise location, name or email in these site-operated statistics.

The administrator sees aggregated reports such as popular pages, visitor countries, device types and referral sources. Individual visitor profiles are not displayed. Do not put personal information in site searches; email addresses, URLs and long numeric inputs are excluded from search reports. The information is used to improve travel content and understand which pages lead to booking or shopping resources.

Your analytics choice

You may allow or decline optional analytics using the notice or the buttons below. Declining stops future optional site statistics on this browser. Anonymous page-view totals and the basic visitor count remain active. It does not disable the basic visitor count, delete data already collected or prevent you from using the site. Your preference is remembered for one year.
