Destination information / photo sourceThe project location is identified in the government coastal-use record as Wonsando-ri san 63, Sorokdo. A current operator timetable and a safe tide-based access window were not verified. Before travelling, ask Boryeong tourism staff about the open visitor entrance, any gate or path restrictions and the return deadline. Do not infer that low tide alone makes a foreshore crossing safe. If access is not confirmed, remain on an open mainland/beach viewing area rather than entering tidal ground. No unverified viewpoint photograph is substituted.
Travel to Boryeong/Daecheon, then plan the separate road journey to Wonsando and the confirmed viewpoint entrance. Save the full Korean location; searching only Sorokdo can send you to Goheung. Check the last local bus or arrange a taxi pickup before sunset. A vehicle road to Wonsando does not establish that every viewpoint path is open.
A Daecheon accommodation base provides more meal and transport options. A Wonsando pension can reduce the evening drive, but confirm its exact approach, heating and total price. Do not assume a temporary campsite mentioned in an old post is currently operating.
Use a confirmed Wonsando or Daecheon cooked-seafood restaurant on the return road. Ask about portion minimums, shellfish allergens and the total price, including preparation charges. Eat before a fixed last-bus departure; a sunset photograph should not remove your return connection.
Non-slip closed shoes, warm windproof layer, water, charged phone, offline pickup pin and a small torch for delays. Check the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency tide forecast for the appropriate local station and your date, plus weather/wave warnings. Tide predictions are not permission to enter a closed route.
Confirm current access with local staff → check the date-specific tide and wave forecasts → choose a daylight approach and a firm return → meal and overnight base. If the safe access window does not fit sunset, choose safety and a different open viewpoint.
Suggested visit times are our planning allowances, not measured transfer times. Reserve the return connection first; current room prices, menus and local departures need a check for your travel date.
