Haenam & Sani Garden
Build a slower southern trip around Sani Garden. Keep the garden in the north-west of Haenam separate from a southern Daeheungsa or Ttangkkeut day.
Allow one night locally; from Seoul, consider two nights for a wider Haenam trip. Suggested pace, not a tour package.

From Seoul: check the whole connection
Compare a coach to Haenam with a train to Mokpo and a separate road transfer. Save the exact Sani Garden entrance and arrange the final taxi, rental-car or local-bus journey before departure. It is not a walk from Haenam bus terminal.
A realistic local plan
Walking times below are our planning suggestions, not an operator timetable. Check the day’s weather, opening and return connections.
Arrival & a garden afternoon
Our suggestion: allow 2–3 hours to choose an open garden walk, photographs and a rest. Pick a shorter loop in heat or rain. Check which exhibits, cafés and activities are operating instead of treating every advertised facility as included.
Choose one separate southern day
Choose Daeheungsa and the Duryunsan area, or a Ttangkkeut coast day. Do not promise all three areas in one afternoon: compare the road journey, admission and return before adding a stop. A summit hike and cable-car ride are separate choices.
Opening, tickets & practical checks
KTO listing: March–October 09:00–18:00, last entry 17:00; November–February 09:00–17:00, last entry 16:00. Check current garden notices and ticket prices before going.

Food & where to stay
In Haenam town, compare current menus for a Korean set meal or cooked seafood. Confirm whether the price is per person, minimum group size and what is included. Choose lodging near your evening meal or arrange the return ride.
Weather & the return journey
Garden photographs show a past season. For heavy rain or high wind, shorten outdoor time and move a long road trip to another day. Confirm the last transfer to your accommodation.
