This is the aster garden in Gaeun-eup, distinct from Bongcheonsa in Hogye-myeon. A September 2026 report gives the autumn event dates as 18 September–20 October. Confirm current flowers, admission and parking with the farm; older municipal photographs do not establish today’s conditions. Stay on designated paths around the flower beds and pond.
Transport
Use the Gaeun-eup address, not a generic Mungyeong temple pin. From your Mungyeong/Jeomchon arrival point arrange the rural transfer and return pickup. Combining Bongcheonsa requires a separate road journey between different townships.

Compare a booked stay in Gaeun or Mungyeong town and check the actual journey from the farm. Do not assume that the farm offers tourist accommodation or that a rural taxi will wait after dark.
Local food
Plan a meal in Gaeun town or Gaeun Ajagae Market before returning. Confirm the vendor’s opening for your date; do not rely on a seasonal farm food stall.
Personal essentials
Walking shoes, drinking water, a charged phone and a light warm layer. Save the return transport, entrance pin and reservation details before leaving town. Stay on marked paths and take your rubbish back.
A workable visit plan
Confirmed farm admission → flower paths and pond viewpoints → Gaeun meal → return pickup. Add Bongcheonsa only with enough road-transfer time.
