An overview, not a navigation track. Daily distances, ascent and diversion GPX files are not yet verified. Use the official map and current local notices. Seoul-only departures do not automatically qualify for full cross-country certification.
Choose Incheon for the full classic route; confirm transport to the start.
Choose overnight towns along your verified route, not a fixed daily target.
Plan for climbing and recovery; check current access before the pass.
The cross-country connection is different from riding the entire Andong-origin Nakdonggang route.

Independent operator example, not a partner offer. Bike Nara advertises Seoul pickup and return at its Busan partner shop, around 2 km from the final certification centre. Confirm the exact address, opening hours, fit and stock directly.
BIKE NARA / HYBRID
Rental 150,000 + Busan return 50,000 = 200,000 KRW. Bag forwarding adds 20,000–30,000 per item. Pannier: 20,000 per bag/week. This example does not price an 8–10-day trip; extra days, lodging, meals, insurance and other transfers are excluded. Prices and availability require booking confirmation.
PICKUP → RIDE → RETURN
Confirm return map pin/hours, late fees, inspection and deposit refund; photograph the bike at pickup and return. Bike Nara says early return is not refunded and extensions depend on the next booking. Luggage forwarding to Busan is not daily hotel-to-hotel transport. For a mid-route stop, arrange recovery directly; train/bus carriage is not guaranteed.

Bike Rental Korea describes an optional US$4.10/day bicycle-and-accessory damage cover capped at KRW 200,000; injury to people is excluded. This is a different operator from Bike Nara and does not establish its insurance terms. Your travel insurer must confirm multi-day cycle touring, emergency medical/evacuation, liability and hired-bike damage/theft separately.
