A view, or a longer walk

Walk from Jangjado toward Daejangdo, then choose the signed stepped route to the viewpoint and return. A shore visit and climbing the summit are different choices; stop earlier if the stairs do not suit you.

Before you go

KTO advises parking on Jangjado because vehicle access to Daejangdo is controlled. Its 10–20 minute description concerns the stepped section, not a complete car-park round trip. A current fixed full-route distance, fee and operating window were not verified.

Getting there & returning

Regional gateway: Gunsan station or intercity terminal

The regional gateway and the attraction entrance are separate locations. Check the actual road or bus connection, walking section and return pickup for your date. A map pin does not guarantee a bus, parking space or accessible route.

Food & a place to stay

Regional planning base: Jangjado/Seonyudo, or Gunsan town

Use the named area as a search base. Check the provider’s current opening, menu, minimum portions, room type and cancellation terms. Allow a separate transfer when staying in town; these searches do not imply walking distance or an existing paid partnership.

Plan around your walking needs

Choose a viewing visit, steps or a summit hike deliberately. Check steep sections, return points, weather closures and transport before booking. Cave tickets, cable cars, temples and trails can have different operating rules.
