Five rocky summits rise between Chuncheon and Hwacheon above Soyang Lake. Cheongpyeongsa Temple and Gusong Falls are distinctive nearby sights; a temple visit can be planned without committing to the summit hike. This is different from Sejong Obongsan.
Five rocky peaks above Soyang Lake; Cheongpyeongsa temple and Gusong Falls
For a summit hike, the Korea Forest Service lists routes from Baehuryeong toward the peaks, with steeper rocky descent toward Cheongpyeongsa. Choose the signed trailhead and exit in advance. If approaching Cheongpyeongsa by boat across Soyang Lake, confirm sailing times and the last return before setting out; check current trail restrictions and wet-rock conditions.
