How to change Day 1 for the weather

Rain: Shorten outdoor walks and choose an indoor museum or market only if open.

Heat or cold: Move outdoor stops toward a more comfortable hour and add water and a seated break.

Weather warning: Follow official warnings and operator notices. Keep the day near your base rather than forcing booked travel or an exposed walk.

Nearby to see & do

These are optional places in the wider destination. Check the distance, opening day and journey before adding a stop.

  • Songdo Central ParkWalk beside the water with modern towers around you. The park is a useful starting point for Songdo, with nearby cafés and the hanok village. Boat activities depend on the operator and weather. Plan your visit: The park and its surrounding skyline form a different district from the old port. Combine a waterside walk with nearby dining rather than rushing between all of Incheon. Boat activities have separate operating conditions; a park visit does not guarantee that every service is running.NAVER Map · English ↗KakaoMap · English ↗Google Maps ↗
  • Chinatown & the old portExplore Chinatown’s gateways and restaurant streets, then continue through the old port area. The neighbourhood is closely connected to the opening of Incheon Port in 1883. Plan your visit: Begin near Incheon Station and explore the heritage streets in a compact walking route. Some streets climb uphill. A jjajangmyeon meal can be part of the visit, but compare restaurant menus rather than choosing only by the longest queue.NAVER Map · English ↗KakaoMap · English ↗Google Maps ↗
  • Sinpo International MarketBuild a food stop around the market’s sweet and spicy dakgangjeong. Browse the stalls at your own pace and check each shop’s opening hours. Plan your visit: Use the market as a food stop during an old-port visit. Browse first and choose portions that leave room for another local dish. Individual shops have their own opening days and payment arrangements, so carry a backup way to pay.NAVER Map · English ↗KakaoMap · English ↗Google Maps ↗
  • Jeondeungsa Temple, GanghwaSet aside a separate trip for this wooded temple within Samnangseong Fortress. Expect walking and changes in level, and keep temple halls quiet during worship. Plan your visit: Ganghwa is a separate excursion from Songdo or the airport. Give the temple approach and grounds adequate time and dress for sloping paths. Plan the return connection before visiting, especially if you are relying on buses rather than a car.NAVER Map · English ↗KakaoMap · English ↗Google Maps ↗
  • Wolmido waterfrontPair a waterfront walk with an old-port day if your timing allows. Visitor rides and the sea train are optional services with their own tickets and operating notices. Check the last connection back rather than treating the area as an extension of the airport terminal.NAVER Map · English ↗KakaoMap · English ↗Google Maps ↗

  2. Check local transport for each pair of stops in Naver Map or Google Maps. A search result is not a booked service.
  3. Check weather, opening hours, trail closures and the last useful return journey; reduce stops if delays occur.
