Choose your walk

Check the route before departure. Jeju Olle lists a Route 7 change dated 1 July 2026; older distances and end points may differ. We link the current official maps rather than drawing an unverified track.

Four walking areas on one map

Numbers 1–4 match the guide cards. Pins use VisitJEJU’s published representative locations, not trail entrances or a GPS walking track. Open each official route map for the current path and diversions.

Route 6 · Seogwipo

First Olle day

Walk · transport · stays · food

Walking plan

Start around Soesokkak for a short outing, or plan a full day toward central Seogwipo. VisitJEJU’s reference guide lists 11 km and 4–5 hours; add meal and photo breaks. The route includes varied terrain, not an entirely flat promenade.

Official route map & notices

Get there & return

Plan airport-to-Seogwipo travel separately from the transfer to Soesokkak. Search the exact start in the bus planner, then check the last return service. Save a taxi alternative.

Where to stay

Central Seogwipo is a practical base for meals and onward transport. Compare the actual hotel or guesthouse location, check-in time, laundry and luggage storage. A sea view does not guarantee easy trail access.

Meals along the way

Use Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market for a post-walk meal or snacks. Choose a cooked meal for a long walking day; ask about seafood, pork and allergy ingredients before ordering. Market browsing is a side visit, not a required trail stage.

Route 7 · volcanic coast

Coast & forest

Walk · transport · stays · food

Walking plan

Choose the Oedolgae area for a short scenic visit, or use the official Route 7 map for a longer walk toward Beophwan. Expect rocky ground and slopes. Check the current diversion and total distance before planning a full route.

Official route map & notices

Get there & return

Reach your chosen entry by local bus or taxi. If you leave a car at Oedolgae, arrange the return from the point where you stop. Do not assume the trail forms a loop.

Where to stay

Stay in central Seogwipo for services, or near Beophwan if walking access is your priority. Check slopes between the accommodation and shore, especially with luggage.

Meals along the way

Look for a meal near Beophwan Port or return to central Seogwipo. Check opening hours before leaving town; do not count on every coastal café serving lunch.

Route 10 · southwest coast

Big landscapes & history

Walk · transport · stays · food

Walking plan

Focus a shorter visit on the Sagye–Songaksan area, or use the official map for the full Hwasun–Moseulpo route. Coastal hills and exposed sections make this different from a flat beach walk. Yongmeori Coast is a separate optional visit with its own access restrictions.

Official route map & notices

Get there & return

Check services to Hwasun, Sagye or Songaksan for your chosen start. If walking one way, return from Moseulpo by bus or taxi; confirm the last service rather than relying on an old timetable.

Where to stay

Choose Sagye for a coastal base or Moseulpo for onward ferry travel. Confirm the real driving or walking route to Unjin Port if Gapado is planned next.

Meals along the way

Search Sagye or Moseulpo restaurants along your actual exit route. Fish availability and prices vary; ask whether the displayed price is per portion, per fish or per weight.

Route 10-1 · Gapado island

Small island · ferry required

Walk · transport · stays · food

Walking plan

VisitJEJU lists a 4.3 km route across Gapado. Allow time for village stops and photography within your booked return sailing. Green barley is a spring scene; autumn visits show a different island.

Official route map & notices

Get there & return

Take the passenger ferry from Unjin Port after confirming sailing, check-in requirements and the last return. Carry the ID required by the operator. If sailing is cancelled, choose a mainland coastal outing instead.

Where to stay

For a first visit, consider sleeping on the main island near Moseulpo. An island overnight requires a confirmed room, meals and sailing plan; do not arrive expecting walk-in accommodation.

Meals along the way

Check island meal service before departure and carry water and a snack. Plan a longer meal in Moseulpo if your time ashore is tight; an unconfirmed restaurant booking should not risk the return ferry.

A flexible three-day visit

Day 1: settle in Seogwipo and take a short Route 6 outing. Day 2: choose Route 7 or a shorter coastal walk. Day 3: choose the southwest coast or Gapado only if the sailing and your onward travel allow it. Do not try to finish all four routes in three days.

Before you walk

Carry water, a light waterproof jacket, sun protection and shoes with grip. Download the route before leaving; mobile reception is not a substitute for signs. Finish unfamiliar coastal paths in daylight. Strong wind, rain and slippery rock can change your plan.

One-way trails need a return plan

A full Olle route may finish far from your starting car park. Check the bus or taxi from the finish, save the Korean place name and avoid arranging your last flight immediately after a walk. A short out-and-back is a planning alternative, not an official new Olle route.
