What to see & do
What to see and do
Give one beach time for walking and a meal, then transfer to the other only if you want a full-day outing.
Travel from Seoul
A route to plan from Seoul
From Seoul, reach Busan by rail or coach and continue to the chosen beach by the local rail and bus network.
This is a route suggestion, not a live timetable. Confirm the departure, final connection and return service for your travel date.
Where to stay
Choose a practical base
Look for accommodation in or around Eastern Busan. Compare its distance to the arrival station or terminal and your first sightseeing stop. A rural attraction may be easier to visit from a town base with an arranged transfer.
For a hanok stay, ask about bed or floor bedding, private bathrooms, steps, check-in and luggage storage. For a hotel, compare access to the local transport you plan to use.
Regional food
A taste of Busan
Dwaeji gukbap — Pork and rice soup is one of Busan’s signature meals. Slices of pork sit in a rich broth, with rice served in the bowl or alongside it depending on the restaurant.
Typical ingredients: Pork and pork broth, Rice, Spring onion or chives, Optional salted shrimp and chilli seasoning. Rich, savoury and comforting. The plain soup is usually mild; added seasonings make it saltier or spicier.
