Choose a practical base

Look for accommodation in or around Central Jeju. Compare its distance to the arrival station or terminal and your first sightseeing stop. A rural attraction may be easier to visit from a town base with an arranged transfer.

A taste of Jeju

Black pork barbecue — Jeju’s black pork is a signature island barbecue meal. Restaurants serve cuts such as pork belly and neck, with Black Pork Street in Jeju City offering a concentration of places to try it.

Typical ingredients: Jeju black pork, Salt, Garlic, Leafy wraps, Sometimes anchovy-based dipping sauce. Rich and meaty, with juicy fat and smoky grilled edges. Plain grilled pork is mild; dipping sauces add stronger flavours.
