Ssanggok unfolds through a mountain valley rather than one enclosed attraction. Choose a few viewpoints, leave time to linger and arrange your return before heading uphill. The nine scenes occupy a 10.5 km area; this is not a verified continuous walking trail.

Two scenes, an unhurried visit
Allow 60–90 min · editorial suggestion
Choose Sogeumgang and the Tteokbawi area after confirming lawful parking. Use signed paths; do not join the stops by an assumed roadside footpath. Driving between viewpoints may be preferable.
The road map locates the area; the numbered list is a visit sequence, not a surveyed or certified open trail. Use current park signs. If the embedded map does not load, the individual map links still open.

A waterfall outing from Jeolmal
Short return walk · confirm access
County describes the waterfall about 700 m from Jeolmal along Salgunamugol. Ask the park branch whether this approach is open, then return by the same signed path. Uneven ground, photos and the distance from your actual parking add time.

Chilbosan · only after route confirmation
Reserve a separate half-day or longer
This is mountain hiking, with rocky climbing and descending. Ask about the designated Tteokbawi–Chilbosan–waterfall route. Tteokbawi and Jeolmal are different endpoints: arrange a return transfer. Do not follow older descriptions onto unconfirmed ridges or closed paths.

Enjoy the mountains as scenery
Goesan's Gunjasan page displays a national-park hiking control notice. Do not assume it is open. Bobae and Bihak frame the valley but no currently permitted route is confirmed here. Ask the park branch for today's position.
Autumn changes; water rules still apply
Foliage timing varies. Check weather and current fire-season restrictions; no 2026 closure dates are confirmed here. Stay on permitted paths. Seonnyeotang's name does not grant bathing access, and clear pools can hide depth and current.
