No Korean phone number?
Separate restaurant reservations, restaurant queues and train tickets: they produce different confirmations. A payment notification by itself does not tell you which one you have.
Choose the correct booking channel
For restaurants listed on CATCHTABLE Global, use its international service rather than assuming the Korean domestic app has the same sign-up rules. The official tourism guide confirms Google, Apple or email registration without a Korean phone number. A restaurant missing from the service needs a different approach: contact that branch or ask your accommodation to help.
A reservation is different from a queue
A dated reservation holds a stated sitting subject to its terms. A remote waitlist gives you a place in a queue; it is not permission to arrive at any time. Read how the restaurant calls your turn and what happens if you are late. If only on-site waitlisting is offered, travel there before joining. Do not pay an unknown person to bypass the queue.
Before you confirm or cancel
Match the Korean branch name with your map pin, choose the actual number of diners, and read the deposit, minimum order and cancellation deadline. Save the confirmation number and the cancellation screen. If plans change, cancel through the original booking channel; sending a message to the restaurant may not cancel an app booking. Refund timing is set by the provider and card issuer.
For a train, look for the issued ticket
Use KORAIL’s foreign-language booking channel. Check departure station, arrival station, travel date, train number, passengers and seat details on the issued ticket. Keep a readable offline copy. If money appears pending but no ticket exists, check reservation history and contact the operator before purchasing again. At a station counter, show your route and date; do not assume seats will remain available.
When the first attempt fails

Try this first
- For participating restaurants, try CATCHTABLE Global: Google or Apple sign-in is available without a Korean phone number.
- Check the branch, date, time, party size, deposit and cancellation terms. Save your confirmation and check app or email updates.
- For trains, use KORAIL’s foreign-language booking site. Verify that a ticket was issued; a pending card charge alone is not a ticket.
