Metro and city buses cover different parts of the same journey. Choose the exit nearest your destination, then check elevator access.

Eligible senior and disability metro concessions require the appropriate documents. A foreign visitor aged 65+ does not automatically qualify. Seoul buses still charge a fare under the senior metro-card scheme.
Local policy or authority information (Korean) ↗International visitors: budget for a regular fare unless the operator confirms a concession. Ask what proof of age, residence or disability it accepts. Do not assume a foreign disability card qualifies automatically.
Documents, eligibility & accessible travel ↗Tell the operator whether you need an elevator, ramp, wheelchair space or assistance with boarding. Confirm the specific departure rather than relying on the route name alone.
Check the path from the station or terminal to the local stop. Allow extra time and ask about the accessible entrance and return service. For help finding local information, contact the Korea Travel Hotline: 1330 within Korea.
